Pakistan Cricket Team Squad Announced for T20 World Cup 2024

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has named its 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, scheduled to be held in the United States and the West Indies from June 14 to July 14.

The squad includes captain Babar Azam, who will be leading Pakistan in a major tournament for the first time since his appointment in 2019. Also included in the squad are vice-captain Shadab Khan, star all-rounder Mohammad Rizwan, and experienced batsman Fakhar Zaman.

The team's bowling attack will be led by pacer Haris Rauf and spinner Shadab Khan. Young pacer Naseem Shah and left-arm spinner Abrar Ahmed have also been included in the squad after their impressive performances in recent matches.

The PCB has stated that the team has been selected based on current form and fitness, and that the players are confident of putting up a strong challenge for the title.
